Hello Everyone!
My name is Garrett Godsey. I attend Friends Community Church in Brea, California.
Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the 2014 summit. From what I understand, it was a life changing experience! I am lucky, however, to be involved in planning the 2018 Friends Summit!
In November, a group of young adults from all around the country met to discuss what we want in Summit 2018 and how we can implement those things. I have to say, I am so excited for these discussions! There are going to be some great topics to go over. I really look forward to growing in my faith at Summit 2018 and seeing what the Lord has for me. I truly feel like He will be moving mightily in the hearts of the young adults in His Church.
I am also very excited about strengthening the relationships I have within my young adult group and building new ones with the people I will meet from around the US! It is going to be such a blast.
We will be meeting at the Marriott Denver Tech
Center in Colorado. I had the chance to stay there in November with planning team and it is so beautiful!
I cannot wait to see what summit will bring. God is doing mighty things through the Friends denomination! I hope to see you at summit! Come prepared to encounter your creator! Be blessed.
